Within the framework of the exhibition Tokyo Games Show 2023 the authors of Tekken 8 presented new gameplay materials, which clever exhibition visitors posted online.
The first to appear was a clip from the story mode, where Jin and Kazuya fight against each other. In the comments to the video, fans of the series noted that the quality of dialogue has increased compared to previous games in the franchise.
The production of the cutscenes itself also generally evoked a positive reaction from the audience.
In addition, the authors YouTube– channel GamersPrey shared clips from different game modes, including Arcade Quest (where you can create your own fighter) and a battle with the “Ghost” in the arena.
Moreover, in one of the brawls the fighters had to fight on the beach using a volleyball.
There was also a video demonstrating battles for several different fighting game heroes.
Tekken 8 release is scheduled for January 26, 2024 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Fans are waiting for 32 fighters and a new chapter in the local story saga.
