To pass the wait for the short postponement of Patch 3 of Baldur’s Gate III, the Larian Studios team offers some previews on what will be the contents included in the big update.
In particular, the Belgian team communicates to the community that it will be possible very soon change the aesthetic appearance of your characters. Patch 3 will in fact introduce a new instrument, named, into the party camp Magic Mirror. By interacting with it, it will be possible to make multiple variations to your avatar, including hair, tattoos, eye color, tone of voice and even reference pronoun. However, some limitations are also present: in particular it will not be possible to use the Magic Mirror to alter body size and race chosen during character creation.
The new feature of Baldur’s Gate III will be available exclusively for custom protagonists, while it will not be possible to change the aesthetics of Origin characters of the GDR. The latter have in fact been shaped in every detail by the authors of Larian Studios and – understandably – cannot be modified at will by the public.
As mentioned, the Magic Mirror will debut with Patch 3 of the title, expected today, Friday 22 September. With the same update, we remind you, support for the Mac version of Baldur’s Gate III will also be activated.
