The Ukrainian women’s national volleyball team will play a match in the fifth round of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games on September 22. The opponent is the Canadian team. The fight will take place in the Chinese city of Ningbo. The start is scheduled for 8:00 Kyiv time.
The Ukrainian team lost all four matches of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games. All matches ended in dry defeats. Ukrainians have lost their chance to compete for the Olympics.
At the start of the Olympic qualifying tournament, the Canadian team won against the Netherlands with a score of 2:3, after which they also lost to the Dominican Republic in a tiebreaker. This was followed by a “dry” defeat from one of the tournament favorites, the Serbian national team (0:3) and an unexpected victory over another favorite – the Chinese team (3:2)
