White Owls officially unveiled “Hotel Barcelona” at the Tokyo Game Show. A first video was also ready.
“Hotel Barcelona” is being developed under the direction of Hidetaka “Swery 65” Suehiro and Goichi “Suda 51” Suda and is described as a “2.5D slasher film parody action title.” In the game, which takes influences from horror film history, we must compete against everything from alien creatures to AI-controlled sharks, while we are stuck in an endless time loop full of serial killers and only our past selves can help us. The accompanying video shows for a good two minutes what we can imagine in a playful way.
“Hotel Barcelona” will be released next year for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
