The developers of Baldur’s Gate III have clarified the words of voice actor Neil Newbon (Astarion) about “2 hours” of content that none of the players have yet discovered.
Newbon mentioned this during one of his streams, but did not go into details of his own statement. Many users began to search for the same content to no avail, but later the studio intervened in the matter Running with your comments.
As it turns out, we are talking about already open content – a quest to find a mace “Blood of Lathander”which can be completed during BG3.

According to the plot, players need to steal the mace from the monastery of Rosimorn, but in the process they can activate a dangerous trap that can kill Astarion. And if the character is resurrected, the user will see the hero’s unique reaction to what happened.
Larian explained that Newbon made this comment close to the game’s release. Therefore, then the artist did not want to spoil unnecessary details – but at the moment the players have already managed to reveal everything.
Today, September 22, the third patch for the game is expected to be released – it will add a Magic Mirror, which will allow you to change the character’s appearance at any time.
