The sixth anniversary of NieR Automata is approaching and soon Yoko Taro and Yosuke Saito could surprise their fans with a special announcement. A sequel to the history of 2B and 9S it was never made official, despite numerous requests from the community and the warmth towards the series.
What gave the fandom hope was the recent merger between Luminous and Square Enix, with the authors of Forspoken joining the creative team behind NieR. However, the franchise continues to move forward with several side projects, the first of which is the NieR Automata live concert tour. Furthermore, fans will be happy with the confirmation of the second season of the NieR Automata anime.
The cosplay community also contributes to the expansion of the series, paying homage to the beautiful 2B and A2 almost daily. This time the YoRHa No. 2 Type B is celebrating cosplayer Mila Jaeger.
