The Google Pixel 8a has been leaked in a series of photos. According to this leak, the smartphone would be different from the current Pixel 7a (test), launched barely six months ago. Find out what the Pixel 8a would look like, as well as its possible technical sheet.
Google is struggling to keep the secret of its Pixel 8a, which is expected to be released in mid-2024. Leaker Abishek Yadav is said to have revealed images on X (formerly Twitter) that show the smartphone from many angles. We notice that the corners of the smartphone would be much more rounded than those of the future Pixel 8.
On the back of the smartphone, we notice that the transverse strip has been refreshed. The latter would house a double photo module and an LED flash. It is still unknown whether changes will also be made to the photo module itself.

Furthermore, the set of buttons would apparently be positioned on the right side, while the SIM tray would be located on the left side of the lower edge. The smartphone screen would, as usual, have rounded corners.
The screen bezels are said to be more pronounced, but it’s hard to say if they will actually be thicker than those of the Pixel 7a. The display would house a punch-hole for the selfie lens and fingerprint sensor.
The source added that the smartphone will be known under the code name Akita, which we already know from previous rumors.
Still according to the leak, the Pixel 8a would be equipped with a Tensor G3 SoC. The latter would debut on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. However, some features of the smartphone are still unknown at the moment.
