The full release of the crime shooter Payday 3 resulted in crashed servers due to the large number of players. Peak online on Steam managed to reach 77,938 concurrent users.
The developers threw their energy into correcting the situation, which took them more than 10 hours. Fortunately, by now there is a problem with the servers managed to solve. Unfortunately, player dissatisfaction has already affected the overall rating of Payday 3 on Steam. If at the beginning the project received 87% approval, now it is only 41% (based on 7,864 reviews).
Players criticized Payday 3 for both broken servers and the inability to play solo matches due to the requirement to be constantly connected to the network. Apparently, not only players on PC, but also on consoles encountered early problems with servers. In addition, Payday 3 received a portion of criticism, including for its not very user-friendly interface, small amount of content and slow progression.
Payday 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Content support for the game will last at least 18 months, and the developers have already announced four additions.
