The author “Cheburashki” announced the official start of production of the sequel, which is scheduled to premiere on January 1, 2026.
The plot of the sequel will unfold a year after the events of the original, when Cheburashka is already getting used to her new life. However, sometimes he begins to show excessive independence or even become a hooligan, which causes fresh problems for Gena (Sergei Garmash).
