The Ukrainian Football Association Referees Committee reported that it had received a letter from the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee regarding Alexandra Solovyan.
Previously, by decision of the UAF Referees Committee, this referee was temporarily suspended from appointments to matches.
In the letter received, the UAF Referees Committee was informed that the Ethics and Fair Play Committee “does not check possible violations of the Code of Ethics and Fair Play in relation to the suspended UAF referee Alexander Solovyan in terms of possible influences on the results of official football sports competitions.”
Also, the UAF Committee on Ethics and Fair Play provided a copy of a letter from the investigator, which reported that Alexander Solovyan was in criminal proceedings on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, is in the procedural status of a witness.
Alexandra Solovyan is a Ukrainian First League referee who was taken out of the Football House in handcuffs in 2018.
