Former Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete was recognized as the author of the best goal of the week in the Champions League. Now the 23-year-old Brazilian defends the colors of the Turkish Galatasaray.
In the first round of the group stage, Galatasaray drew 2:2 at home with the Danish Copenhagen on Wednesday, September 20, losing 0:2 during the match. It was Tete’s goal in the 88th minute that saved the Istanbul club from home defeat.
For Tete, this goal was his debut for Galatasaray. The Brazilian winger only joined the club last summer.
