Plot of previous seasons
The main characters of the Chinese donghua, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, work in a photo studio that provides a very unusual service for obtaining information. With the help of a photograph, two friends can be transported to the moment captured in it for 12 hours, but they should not change anything in the past. The mediator is Ling Qiao, their friend. At a certain point, the guys change the events of the past, which starts a chain of tragic and terrible events. At the end of the first season, Lu Guang is wounded by Ling Qiao, who is under the control of the main culprit of all deaths.
The second season starts from the final scene of the previous one. Lu Guang ends up in the hospital and the doctors manage to save him. As the plot develops, it turns out that the culprits were former policeman Jin Qian, as well as brother and sister Li, who, like the main characters, have special abilities based on photographs. They intend to rewrite the tragic past in order to save Tianxi and Tianchen’s mother, and for this they need Cheng Xiaoshi’s ability.
Lu Guang is captured by Tianchen and Jin Qian, and Tianxi ends up with the main characters and decides to help them. During the “exchange” of Lu Guang for Cheng Xiaoshi, everything does not go according to the protagonists’ plan. Both guys are seriously injured, and Tianxi ends up being shot by Jin Qian. Li Xiao arrives in time and helps neutralize his former colleague, but Tianchen escapes.
In the season finale, Jin Qian is arrested and Tianchen Li gains an unexpected ally. Among other things, it turns out that Lu Guang is hiding something about the fate of Cheng Xiaoshi, and Ling Qiao is puzzled by the memories Tianxi conveyed to her.
