Another European country refused to play with Russian teams. This time Denmark did not publicly support UEFA’s decision:
“No Danish team will play against Russia, regardless of their age category. There are now many positions regarding this UEFA decision, but our position remains the same as always. We will deal with the match against Russia if it is scheduled. We can’t imagine Denmark playing against the Russians.”
Yesterday, September 26, the UEFA Executive Committee decided to return Russian teams consisting of players under 17 years of age to European competitions. England, Ukraine, Poland and Latvia have already opposed this decision.
