On the evening of September 27, Netflix is holding a presentation called Drop 01, dedicated to animation projects. During the show, trailers of already well-known anime were shown, and several new products were announced; here is a list of the most interesting news from the presentation.
Devil May Cry
An anime series is being created based on the action series Devil May Cry from Capcom. The project is being directed by Adi Shankar and produced by Studio Mir. The release date or at least the year of the premiere of the anime has not been announced.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft
The first shots of the animated series about the adventures of Lara Croft. The show will tell an original story and apparently will not be based on the Crystal Dynamics series of games. There is no premiere date yet.
Captain Laserhawk
The first full trailer for Captain Laserhawk A Blood Dragon Remix, an anime series based on Far Cry Blood Dragon from Ubisoft. The premiere will take place on October 19 – 4 years after the announcement.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution
An excerpt from the animated series that continues the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The show will tell about the confrontation between He-Man and Skeletor, but in the video the main character has a different opponent.
Blue Eye Samurai
A rather bloody series about the adventures of a sword master who embarks on the path of revenge. Premiere November 3.
Sonic Prime
The animated series Sonic Prime has new episodes on the way. We don’t know yet when they will be released, but we can look at a cut of several scenes.
