If Tom Henderson has released information on the history, gameplay and release period of Far Cry 7, a further rumor suggests that the next chapter of Ubisoft’s open world series will also be published on Nintendo Switch 2.
According to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, Far Cry 7 is currently scheduled to launch in late 2025, period within which Nintendo Switch 2 could have already been launched on the market. According to what was suggested by gaming journalist Necrofelipe, who intervened in the discussion triggered by Henderson’s article, Far Cry 7 will also be available from day one on Nintendo’s next-gen console. To accompany the next hybrid platform of the big N, there should presumably be PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Necrofelipe later clarified that Far Cry 7 will not be a title part of the Switch 2 launch lineup, but it will simply be released on day one also on the hybrid console. This, as mentioned, means that the console will be able to arrive on the market even before the indicated period.
