Very shortly after the publication of the first trailer for the Devil May Cry anime series, it is already time for a new announcement from Netflix leaders!
The streaming giant has in fact confirmed that it is also working on one animated series inspired by the world of Tomb Raider. The legendary videogame IP is therefore preparing to come to life in an adaptation for the small screen, arriving exclusively on Netflix.
The production was shown in a first teaser trailer, which you can view directly at the opening of this news. The series will be titled Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft. As already reported for the Devil May Cry animated series, unfortunately a precise launch date is missing at this stage: the announcement film simply confirms that the creation will be “soon” available in the Netflix catalogue. The animated series will be signed by Powerhouse Animation e Legendarywhile he will supervise the entire project Crystal Dynamics. The software house, we remind you, has no longer been part of the Square Enix universe since May last year, following the acquisition of the team by Embracer Group.
