Disney Studios is expanding its line of original animated content and preparing for the premiere of the animated film “Wish.” The studio shares a new atmospheric trailer.
The story centers on idealistic young Asha, who feels her kingdom is on the verge of collapse. To fix everything, she makes a wish – and the universe answers her, sending a small star of endless energy to help.
The main characters are voiced by Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine. The project is helmed by the team of Chris Buck and Von Weerasunthorn, who promised that the film will be filled with references. In the new cartoon, Disney uses an experimental technique of combining 2D and 3D graphics.
“A Cherished Wish” opens worldwide in November.
