Microsoft has just released a small bonus system update for Xbox. Included are the following points: New policy for storing recordings. Introducing a simplified process for backing up your gaming records to OneDrive and finding events for your favorite games and more.
Let’s start with the new guidelines for storing game recordings and a new, easy way to back them up via OneDrive.
Starting today, Microsoft is changing the way the Xbox network stores game captures. Game captures saved on the Xbox network are saved Deleted after 90 days.
To back up clips or screenshots that you want to keep indefinitely, follow the steps below. To check the status of your game captures, you can view your game captures stored on the Xbox network in the Captures app and see if they are marked for impending deletion.
The new retention method allows you to back up all game captures to both OneDrive and an external storage device.
You can move, manage, and bulk upload where you save your captures on your Xbox console. To do this, press the Xbox button and go to My Games & Apps > Show All > Apps > Captures. There you will see a “More Information” button that you can use to get started. You can also choose to save the captures to OneDrive for the future. This way you never have to wonder again whether everything is secured.
Thanks to the integrated Microsoft Clipchamp Video-Editors On your PC you can edit your videos that you save on OneDrive. You can easily cut, crop, add text, transitions and other effects to the captures here.
