Red Barrels showed an upcoming innovation in The Outlast Trials, which will be part of the October update – a new mini-game in the lobby, rapid chess with the ability to give up before losing.
In addition, the update will include a new map (they promised to talk about it later), additional variations for testing, cosmetics and much more. The release is expected at the end of October.
The co-op horror game The Outlast Trials is currently in Early Access on Steam. At the beginning of 2024, a console release of the game is being prepared on both generations of PlayStation and Xbox, as well as cross-play with PC (without cross-progression).
Let us also recall that the original Outlast is 10 years old, and in honor of the game’s anniversary, Red Barrels showed what it tried to attract investors back in 2011.
