The big boxing evening will take place on the night of September 30 to October 1 in the American Las Vegas.
Ukrainian on the undercard Alexander Gvozdyk (19–1, 15 KO) will enter the ring against the Brazilian Isaac Rodriguez (28–4, 22 KO).
In the main fight – for the title of absolute champion in super middleweight the Mexican will fight Saul Alvarez (59–2–2, 39 OR) и Jermell Charlo (35–1–1, 19 KO) from USA.
Ukrainian Alexander Gvozdyk answered questions on the eve of the fight:
“Who will win the main fight? Canelo. I think this will not be an easy fight. The fight will be difficult, but Canelo is bigger, more experienced and simply stronger.
This is my third fight with Eddie Reynoso. I feel great. Thank you for the opportunity to fight. I really appreciate it.
My opponent is a Brazilian fighter, a respectable guy. I think he is a better fighter than he is in the ratings. But I have no underestimation. I’m trying to come out in my best shape on Saturday and just beat him.
I’m looking forward to the fight. My career began in Las Vegas. I will definitely become a champion in the weight category up to 79.4 kg.
Fight against Conor McGregor in the ring? I’d love to, just do it. I don’t see Conor as a great boxer. MMA and boxing are completely different. It’s the same as Fury versus Ngannou.
The forecast for their fight is obvious. Unless Fury is drunk and underestimates him, this could probably happen. But I do not think so. It’s not the same thing. I’m not taking anything away from Ngannou, he’s a great mixed martial arts fighter, but fighting in the ring is something else entirely.
Who to fight – Bivol or Beterbiev? With both. If you choose one, I would fight Beterbiev. In a rematch, I would take the belts back.”
