The Spur Gear C and T in Genshin Impact are quest items used in the Hilichurl camp at the Kinetic Energy Institute location in Fontaine. The parts belonged to Original Ability Prototype #2, but were separated and lost due to some power. Return all the gears to the structure to receive source stones for an achvika and a luxurious chest.

What are spur gears used for?
The spur gears are parts of mechanisms from the design of the Initial Ability Prototype No. 2, which stands in the middle of the hilichurl camp in the east of the Institute of Kinetic Energy. Previously, they were part of the figure of the Guardian of the Ruins, but were disconnected due to powerful external influences. Open the tab “Exercise” in the Inventory, where you will find each of the collected gears and you can check their type. Where to find Straight Gear C
Complete the puzzles and unlock the rich chests in the Hilichurl camp to get each of the gears. The largest tents visible on the minimap will serve as landmarks.
Gear C 1
The first Spur Gear C is in the treasury in the southeast of the camp. Defeat Hydro, Anemo rogue hilichurls and one regular one, after which cages with monsters will open.
Once you defeat the three Meks: Intelligence Protocols, access to the treasury will open. Go to the rich chest and get the Spur Gear C from it.
Gear C 2
Head to the northwest hilichurl building across from the shooting test. Destroy the enemies and break every vase – almost all of them will be inside the tent, and one is located to the left of the entrance to it.
When you destroy all the vases, interact with the rich chest and pick up the second Spur Gear C.
Where to Find Spur Gear T
The T Spur Gear is hidden in a rich chest located in the northeast of the camp, in a lower area.
Go to the smaller tent with the Pyro Void Mage – kill him and take the active energy storage device.
Follow the building with the treasury and destroy ordinary hilichurls along the way, which may prevent you from using items due to the battle mode.
Place the drive next to the Stabilizer and “Activate” his. Restore the device by hitting it when its ring is in the blue area.
When you hit the right moment, the area will change – repeat the steps until the mechanism restores stability. The order of lighting zones with blue light:
Middle.Bottom.Top.
We recommend using characters with a one-handed weapon, spear or catalyst, as two-handed ones may be too slow to hit the stabilizer in time.
Once the device is in working order, the rich chest will be unlocked – get the Spur Gear T from it.
How to use Spur Gears in Genshin Impact
You need to use three Spur Gears at the very top of the huge robot Initial Ability Prototype No. 2. You can find him in the hilichurl camp in the east of the Institute of Kinetic Energy. You will notice Mysterious Ore in the robot’s upper hand, and Hydroculus in the lower hand.
You can either climb the ladder from its back side or activate the teleporting Hydro Crown.
To the north of the Prototype you will notice a “stuffed animal” of a robot holding a watering can in its hand – apply it to it once “Rotate”. Then water will flow from the watering can and Hydro Slime will materialize.
Kill the monster so that a Hydro Circle appears in its place, thanks to which you will move to the top hand of the Prototype holding Mysterious ore.
When you reach the head of the design, select “Collect” and thus return all three gears to it.
Next apply Pyro element to the emerging fireworks and step back to observe the result of the repair.
After finishing the report and displaying the fireworks, the achievement “Undocumented Feature” will be counted.
Return to the top of the Prototype and open the Luxurious Chest that has spawned on it, from which you will take:

Activate the hidden function when repairing Prototype of initial abilities No. 2, for which you will unlock the achievement “Undocumented feature” from the section “Wonders of the World”.
