With the BD770i and the BD790i, the PC manufacturer Minisforum presents two mini mainboards, which feature a current Zen 4 APU from the AMD Ryzen 7045HX series and PCIe Gen5 x16 on 170 × 170 mm in Mini-ITX format. This should make it possible to create particularly powerful and efficient mini PCs that can also accommodate powerful graphics cards of the caliber of a Geforce RTX 4090. It starts with the configuration with the Ryzen 7 7745HX, which will be supplemented in the future by a configuration with Ryzen 9 7945HX.

“Here you basically get the best of both worlds, a very powerful and efficient notebook CPU, like those that have long been installed in mini PCs, together with the option of being able to install a normal desktop graphics card.”
