A person involved in the production of Saw Specifically, it is First Assistant Editor Steve Forn, who is responsible for editing the film. He was probably so engrossed in his work that he forgot to turn down the volume when editing a certain scene.

“There was a knock on the door,” explains Greutert. “We have the video of the doorbell [der Kamera]where the police come up and they say: ‘The neighbors called and said that someone was being tortured to death here.’ And then he said, ‘Actually, I’m working on a film right now. You’re welcome to come and see it if you’d like?’ The police officers started laughing and just said: ‘We’d like to, but everything seems to be fine here.'”
