Like every Sunday, find the 5 best Android and iOS mobile applications and games recently released on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
This top 5 is not like our selections of free applications that we offer you twice a week. Here, we install the applications on our own smartphones and test them. We check if there are not too many in-app purchases, ads and if the applications respect your personal data more or less.
We try to select useful applications, whether for productivity, personalization of your interface or digital well-being. And, our top 5 always includes at least one mobile game. Applications can be free or paid, with or without a subscription. But, it will always be indicated!
Bibots (Android et iOS)
Bibots is a shoot’em ups game that doesn’t stray too far from the formula. There are maps to explore and you’ll definitely have your share of bad guys to take down. With a few characters known as Bibots to choose from (each of them having their own characteristics), the gameplay doesn’t differ.
I highly recommend using an external controller to play these kinds of games, otherwise you’re setting yourself up for big disappointments when the going gets tough. For now, the game is still relatively buggy, which may detract from the gaming experience. Some might even find the replayability factor lower than expected, as the progression of improvements is very slow, with low gains.

Rogue’s Treasure Fall (Android)
Rogue’s Treasure Fall is an indie game that claims to test your reflexes and agility. You play as a thug and the principle of the game is simple: you have entered a cave and your task is to collect as much treasure as possible. All treasure falls from above, but falling gold and collectibles are also accompanied by falling rocks.
Your mission? Collect all the gold that falls (and disappears after a while if you’re too slow) and literal Easter eggs that provide different time-based bonuses, from speeding up to growing and shrinking. You will have to guide your thug left and right and position yourself strategically to catch the falling treasures. The more gold you accumulate, the higher your score will be and the higher you are on the leaderboard.

Cozy Cafe : Animal Restaurant (Android et iOS)
Here is a game that will definitely overwhelm you with cuteness. In this game, you will have to visit different types of restaurants, where your team of animal waiters and cooks (whom you hope are competent) will work frantically to satisfy hungry customers.
If you do well, you will obviously earn more money, and with this extra money you can upgrade your food stations and unlock new stages.
You don’t have to worry about coming back to this game again and again, because one of its special features is that it allows you to earn money even when the application is closed or left behind – plan. Of course, in the latter case the battery drains, but at least it allows you to progress even if you are preoccupied with something else.

Expiring Product Notifications (Android)
I have a bad habit of buying way too many groceries every time I go to the supermarket, only to realize that I won’t be able to finish it all in the week. Good thing I have a refrigerator, right? In reality, such action only makes the problem worse. The refrigerator becomes the place where things go and die, especially food.
This app helps me consolidate all the things I have in my fridge, making sure everything in there is ripe and I don’t end up with an upset stomach. Using the app is simple. First, you take a photo of what you have, enter the expiration date, label it accordingly (name and category if possible), and off you go!
The app will display a list of items you own and their next expiration date, letting you know what you should prioritize consuming (or throwing away). I think this app is perfect for busy people who just don’t have time to cook regularly.

Ghost Detective (Android et iOS)
Do you like solving mysteries, especially murder mysteries? If you answered yes, then you should take a look at Ghost Detective. Once again, it is interesting to be a Netflix subscriber, because then you will have access to original and interesting mobile games, which sometimes cost quite a lot if the same game is purchased on Steam.
Ghost Detective immerses you in the world of murder, where you play the role of Inspector Tess Robinson. You have only one task to accomplish: find out who your murderer is. Yes, you read correctly. There is no rest for the wicked, not when you yourself are a spirit and have all the advantages of moving as one.
This is New Orleans and it’s far from the “cleanest” place in town, if you know what I mean. Haunt your way through the Great Hunger and search for clues that will help the crime scene investigation.
You will also be able to meet other ghosts and interact with them, while searching for different items within a limited time. The dialogues are witty, making it one of the most entertaining games you can immerse yourself in.
