Despite sometimes seeming half asleep, the truth is that HBO (now Max) is perfectly capable of launching simply incredible projects and taking your hat off. As happened, for example, with Game Of Thrones, with House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, and it can now happen more recently with a brutal series that has already debuted with its first episode.
Therefore, we are talking about nothing less than Twisted Metal. A series that, in addition to the simply fantastic story, also has a dream cast. With some of the most famous stars in Hollywood and Streaming in general. But what exactly can you expect from this?
HBO (Max): Possible series of the year is not in Portugal! As?
Therefore, Twisted Metal tells us the story of a man called John Doe who lives in a post-apocalyptic world. The main mission is to cross the United States from one end to the other with everything destroyed to deliver a mysterious package. The problem is that there will be several looters after you ready to rob and kill you. In other words, it will not be an easy journey but one that will have to be completed. This in order to guarantee a better future.
When it comes to the cast, we have some fantastic names like Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Samoa Joe and Will Arnett, Richard Cabral, Neve Campbell and even Mike Mitchell.
Last but not least, we think that a possible launch here in Portugal and in the rest of Europe could depend greatly on the success of the project soon. This is because in the first instance, the series can only be seen by Brazilian and American audiences. But let’s wait and see what happens.
In short, this could very well be one of the best series on Streaming in 2023. This is if HBO (Max) manages the entire process well.
