Last month Sony announced the start of a promotion, according to the rules of which new users who bought a PlayStation 5 could receive a free digital copy of one of the console’s hits, like God of War: Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West. However, without any announcement, the company changed the terms of the promotion.
They included the term “By Invitation Only”. Apparently, to receive an invitation, you must be an active PlayStation 4 user – relevant mailings came players of the previous generation.
Customers have already complained that they were unable to receive their free game when activating the console. The promotion, by the way, is valid until October 20 – many believed that in this way Sony wanted to increase the user base before the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
