Andrzej Sapkowski will release a new book in the Witcher series next winter. The writer announced this at the Austrian Comic Con exhibition, which was held in Vienna.
Pan Sapkowski also commented on the Netflix series The Witcher. According to the author, the showrunners did not listen to his advice. “But that’s normal, who I am, an ordinary writer,” Sapkowski replied ironically.
The last novel in the series, “Season of Thunderstorms,” was published in 2013. It became the eighth work in the series about the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. The book takes place between the events of the stories “The Last Wish” and “The Witcher”.
