November 21, 2023 at 5:15 p.m. by Rhonda Bachmann – Season 6 of Battlefield 2042 did not start without problems in October. The responsible developers at DICE have now announced the next update 6.2, which is intended to fix further errors. In addition, there could be hints about an upcoming Season 7.
Season 6 of Battlefield 2042 started on October 10th. However, “Dark Creations” caused numerous problems for users, which the responsible developers want to get under control with new patches. While Update 6.1 was released at the end of October and was supposed to bring some improvements, the team is already working on Patch 6.2. This is scheduled for release at the beginning of December and is expected to bring a whole range of changes to the shooter.
Update 6.2 is intended to solve burning problems in the game
In a new blog post, the developers have already discussed some of the improvements that will find their way to Battlefield 2042 with patch 6.2. For example, there is a solution for the black screen at the end of the round. The changes introduced in Update 6.1 have already helped some players, but the team still wants to continue to address the issue. There should also be a fix for the missing hit registration. This error is not said to be common, but has been particularly observed in some areas of Redacted. The developers say they have identified the error and will provide a fix with 6.2.
We continue with the out-of-bounds battles on the Redacted map. You can fight in some areas outside the map. Update 6.2 should also fix this problem. Invisible weapons and other hardware as well as matchmaking with AI soldiers will also undergo changes and improvements.
And what’s next for Battlefield 2042? Electronic Arts confirmed Season 6 of the shooter last June, even before Season 5 was released. However, there are currently no official statements about further content. DICE developer Manuel Llanes may have given a hint about another season via Twitter. He recently posted a picture from Iron Maiden’s album “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.” It was the British band’s seventh studio album.
