A clue to the existence of the game Bully 2 has been discovered in a Grand Theft Auto V database.
Fans claim to have found possible scrapped plans for games from Rockstar Games in Grand Theft Auto V databases. Text strings for several games such as Bully 2, Grand Theft Auto IV, Midnight Club Los Angeles and Red Dead Redemption 2 were found in debug and project status information.
Some code traces could refer to old concepts for the games in question. There is a reference to a jetpack for Trevor, which could come from a story DLC for GTAV. It was discarded in favor of GTA Online and was used there as a mission (Doomsday Heist).
Entries for the Cops ‘n’ Crooks mode were also found. It was never officially confirmed for GTA Online, but according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, it was supposed to feature cops and criminals fighting. Because of the murder of George Floyd, the plans were apparently scrapped.
Rumors about a successor to Bully: The lap of honor has been around since 2019. Rockstar Games has never officially commented on Bully 2. However, the entries now found seem to provide further possible proof of its existence.
