The famous title from Bones has been consistently holding the championship for several years, and although some new products, for example, Star Child, managed to take the leading position for a while, fans of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood immediately began to knock down their ratings.
The anime community’s opinions on “Friren’s Final Journey” and its leadership are divided. Some consider the victory to be absolutely deserved, and the title to be Madhouse’s best work in recent years. Others call the anime overrated and boring, largely due to its concept and extremely leisurely narrative.
The main heroine of the story is the elf Friren, who took part in the ten-year campaign of Himmel’s detachment. The brave men managed to defeat the Demon King, and calm times finally came to the world. The heroes’ paths diverge, but Friren has the hardest time. As an elf whose lifespan is immeasurably longer than that of humans, she is forced to watch the departure of her comrades.
Ten years of traveling together became an instant for the girl, and after the first funeral of her friend, Friren is fully aware of the missed opportunities. Now she wants to better understand the lives of ordinary people and find her future path. The elf begins a new journey, including in the footsteps of that fateful campaign.
