Midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Taras Stepanenko gave a comment after the match against Italy (0:0).
“We mostly had to defend in the first half, but in the end we managed to create chances. We tried our best until the final whistle and we head into the playoffs with pride. After the final whistle we thanked our fans for their great support. They came here from all over Europe and they were amazing. Now we have time to prepare for the playoffs in the best possible way. If we manage to stay healthy, we have a good chance of performing well,” the official UEFA website quotes Taras Stepanenko as saying.
