According to Krafton’s financial report, the next installment in the Subnautica series is scheduled to appear in the first half of 2025.
Since April of last year, it has been known, thanks to a job advertisement, that Subnautica developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment is working on a new spin-off for its highly acclaimed underwater survival series.
As the financial report of the South Korean publisher Krafton, to which the development studio has been a member since 2021, reveals, the next Subnautica part is scheduled to be published in the first half of 2025.
In addition to the extraction shooter PUBG Black Budget, which is scheduled to appear in the second half of 2024, and the sandbox action-adventure Project Gold Rush, which is also planned for the first half of 2025, the next Subnautica is one of the most important upcoming games from Krafton.
