“Survival: Fountain of Youth,” the single-player survival game from developer Odinsoft and publisher Twin Sails Interactive set in the 16th century Caribbean islands, will serve up a lavish fall feast today with the “Reaping the Harvest” content update. The game was also named “Most Popular Game” at this year’s Dev.Play23.
New content
Three new islands in the Snake Region where players continue the search for the fate of the missing crew members of Juan Ponce de Leon’s legendary 16th century expedition. Different jungles and swamps with new fauna, flora and even malaria. New farming and harvesting functions, as well as adjustments for players’ personal palaces. There they build a new permanent home on the idyllic Silver Island. It is dotted with plateaus and terraces and offers the best agricultural conditions. There will be cold-blooded reptiles, such as carnivorous crocodiles and the agile anaconda. The new islands will also be home to shy deer, giant condors and aggressive hammerhead sharks. Using the mighty Stormbreaker, players will blast through the toughest waves and unlock a new range of tools and weapons (including firearms) to challenge the Caribbean wilderness. More crafting opportunities await players with new resources to collect in the region.
