The turn-based Metroidvania Worldless releases today for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch.
Thunderful, Coatsink and Noname Studios announce that their atmospheric 2D adventure Worldless is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and Switch today, following its release on November 20th for PC.
Worldless features a mix of Metroidvania platformers, turn-based action combat, and RPG-like upgrades, all of which can be seen in the new Out Now trailer.
Worldless’s combat system requires the strategy typically associated with turn-based systems, but adds an element of real-time action thanks to timing-based elements that you must master to succeed when defending yourself and combining attacks.
An intricate skill tree adds new layers to combat encounters and opens up new avenues for you to explore.
Worldless is set in a newborn universe based on beings caught in eternal conflict by the polarizing nature of their attraction. These interactions can lead to an exchange of their polarities, but this process is very unstable and who knows what new results may emerge…
Immerse yourself in an atmospheric, unforgettable environment with an inspiring soundtrack and learn the deeper meaning of Worldless. Explore twisted areas full of secrets, using finesse and fluid action to uncover them while absorbing enemies and improving to unlock new opportunities.
David Sanchez, Studio Director at Noname Studios said of the release: “We are so excited that release day has finally arrived! We’re excited to hear what people think about the game, its unique graphics and combat system. We are particularly excited to see the reactions to the unknown enemies, bosses and secrets!”
