Ahead of the official release of Ryzen AI 300 (Strix Point) processors, AMD has decided to expand their lineup. The previously announced Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365 have been joined by the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 chip, the specifications of which were published on AMD official websiteIts special feature is the increased performance of the NPU block, which is responsible for accelerating AI applications.
If the previously presented Ryzen AI 300 is declared to have a computing power of 50 TOPS NPU block, then for the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 model it has grown to 55 TOPS. Otherwise, the new product repeats the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 model, offering 12 x86 cores (four Zen 5 and eight Zen 5c), 24 megabytes of L3 cache and integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics on 16 Compute Units. The TDP level can be configured in the range from 15 to 54 W.
According to foreign colleagues, the first device based on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 processor will be the HP OmniBook Ultra laptop. It was announced in the middle of this month, and the vendor just emphasized the performance of the NPU block at 55 TOPS. The main parameters of all known AMD Strix Point processors are collected in the table.
