It hasn’t been long since Blasphemous 2 hit the shelves, but it would seem that a sequel could already be on the way, at least according to the latest posts on social media.
During the evening, in fact, the X/Twitter profile of the creative director of the series, who also took care of the artistic direction and writing, published an image that immediately made fans go crazy. Enrique Cabeza’s post shows the hilt of the sharp sword of the Penitent One, strictly soaked in blood, with the words ‘Announcement coming…’ next to it.
Some might think of an expansion of the second chapter due to the timing, but it must be said that it cannot be completely ruled out that the announcement in question concerns Blasphemous 3. With the second chapter, in fact, The Game Kitchen has shown that it has reached a certain maturity and thanks to the recycling of some assets it could make the development of a possible third chapter much faster, a bit like what happened with the second. In any case, it is impossible at the moment to establish what it is and we will have to wait for news from the Spanish team to know what is cooking in the pot.
