Apparently, there is a lot in store for fans of the free-to-play fighting game “MultiVersus” in the near future.
Since the relaunch of “MultiVersus”, the developer studio Player First Games has invested a lot of work and time to provide players of the beat ’em up with new updates. Among other things, fans have been able to enjoy additional characters and new game modes in recent weeks. But that doesn’t seem to be the end of the story – quite the opposite.
Will Harry Potter soon be letting his fists fly?
Some particularly eager fans recently dug through the latest files of “MultiVersus” and came across some interesting things. The data miners found several graphics and other assets of various characters and locations that may soon find their way into the free-to-play fighting game.
What is particularly interesting is the discovery of references to an arena that is clearly thematically linked to the popular Harry Potter universe. Since both the popular sorcerer’s apprentice and “MultiVersus” are under the banner of Warner Bros., such a crossover is anything but unlikely. The same applies to another discovery made by the data miners: According to this, fans of the fighting game can also look forward to a Barbie-style arena.
It also seems that Marceline, a character from the animated series Adventure Time that was primarily seen on Cartoon Network, will be joining the cast of playable characters in the foreseeable future.

When will the new content for MultiVersus be released?
Although the discoveries of the eager data miners are all very interesting, fans of “MultiVersus” should lower their expectations a little. Even if the assets can be found in the current files of the beat ’em up, this does not mean that they will actually find their way into the game (in the near future).
These could be leftovers from the development phase that serve no further purpose. The next few weeks should therefore be very exciting for fans.
