Publisher Camlann Games and Canadian studio Uncle Grouch Gaming announced Dungeons & Kingdoms is a role-playing action game with elements of strategy and simulation in a medieval fantasy setting.
Dungeons & Kingdoms will offer you to lead a group of refugees fleeing their uninhabitable homeland, build them a new home, or give the plans to the colonists themselves (you can share your favorite designs in the Steam Workshop).
To make your settlement prosper, you will need to upgrade your infrastructure, craft tools, collect resources, construct buildings using a modular construction system (more than 500 different blocks), and engage in terraforming.
The kingdom will have to be protected from raiders and wild animals, and also enriched – treasures and upgrades await the hero in dungeons, tombs and ancient temples. Valuable resources, however, are guarded by monsters (demons, dragons).
They promise a realistic change of day and seasons, the ability to attract legendary heroes to your quest, unique mechanics for managing settlers, stylized graphics and text translation into Russian.
It’s worth noting that behind the Uncle Grouch Gaming banner is a solo developer named Lincoln McCulloch, who has been working on Dungeons & Kingdoms for the past five years.
Dungeons & Kingdoms Set to Launch in Early Access Steam and GOG in late 2024 or early 2025. The release version (coming in 18 months) will include a story campaign, co-op, and mod support.
