There was no nuclear apocalypse in the last 24 hours, which means that the developers from The Folon Team managed to keep their promise and release Fallout: London on July 25 — the size of the official add-on mod for Fallout 4.
Fallout: London takes place in the British capital of 2237, 40 years before Fallout 3. Radiation, bandits, constant orders from the Gentry, strange experiments by the Angels – everyone “wants a piece of that tasty morsel.”
The developers promise more than 200 quests to determine the future of London, 20 factions squabbling for power, 15 city districts created from scratch, seven companions and the same number of unique settlements to build.
Fallout: London also includes a non-linear storyline with multiple endings, an expanded dialogue system, new weapons, creatures, collectibles, voice acting for all major characters, and 90 hours of gameplay.
Fallout: London requires the full edition of Fallout 4 to install. In typical British Imperial fashion, the mod will hijack the original game, and you can only return to it by uninstalling London and completely reinstalling.
As promised, the store became the platform for hosting Fallout: London GOG – you can add a mod to the library through the window on the giveaway page. The Steam version of the game will require a rollback to the old build (official “downgrader”).
Fallout: London is 33.8 GB in size. Instructions for installing and downgrading Fallout 4 to the correct version are available at official website of the modificationCompatibility with the Epic Games Store version of the game is not implemented at release.
