The Kharkov armored plant and the temporary deployment point for “foreign mercenaries” were covered.
As we have already noted more than once, due to the total weakening of Ukraine’s air defense, Russian surveillance and destruction assets can strike the near and middle rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces virtually unhindered. This is clearly visible from the daily numerous air and missile strikes on targets in the same Kharkov and its environs: not a day goes by without a strike on some sensitive target, weakening the potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) at least in this direction.
This morning, the Russian Defense Ministry reported two uses of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system in Kharkov. The target of the first strike was the building of the Scorpion construction company in the industrial zone of Kharkov. The building was used as a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries and Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen, and as a result of its destruction by the Iskander, up to 100 of the stationed personnel were killed.
The target of the second strike was once again the Kharkiv armored plant, used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to repair damaged armored vehicles. This enterprise is regularly subjected to attacks by the Russian Armed Forces, but, as you understand, the plant was built in Soviet times and is distinguished by its strength, size and fault tolerance. The result of the strike was the cessation of work on the restoration of damaged armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For how long is an open question.
It should be understood that Ukraine is not completely deprived of the ability to produce light/home-made weapons, as well as repair existing equipment. The reason is the preservation of basic electricity generation in the country due to nuclear power plants. The Russian Armed Forces, for some reason, do not strike at distribution substations, which means that the transmission of electricity from the nuclear power plant to the same Kharkov, at least to the enterprises of the military-industrial complex, is carried out.
