Law enforcement officers conducted an operational purchase of content on the OnlyFans platform to prove the model’s guilt in the production and distribution of pornographic materials.
According to the case materials, the girl registered on the OnlyFans platform, where she published explicit content for a fee – pornographic photos and videos with her participation. The court decision stated that the accused acted “contrary to the requirements of Articles 1, 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Public Morality”, which establish the legal basis for protecting society from the distribution of pornographic products. Details of this case published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
To prove the model’s guilt, law enforcement officers carried out an operational purchase, acquiring 8 photographs and 11 videos featuring the girl. For this content, 5110 hryvnias were transferred to the model’s account.
The court found the girl guilty and sentenced her to a fine of 2,100 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, which is 35,700 hryvnia. In addition, she will be ordered to pay the state procedural costs for conducting examinations in the amount of 9,844.64 hryvnia.
People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak commented this situation in his Telegram channel:
“As far as I understand, the case was investigated by the police. OK, I see that some of the workers there have a lot of time and extra money for “test purchases”. Right now we are reviewing the 2024 Budget – it is clear who needs to cut it.”
It is worth noting that despite the legal restrictions, the OnlyFans platform brings in significant revenue. According to Zheleznyak, last year alone, Ukraine officially received $1.3 million in taxes from OnlyFans.
