Analysts predict strong demand for servers with Blackwell GPUs and strong sales throughout the next year. The Blackwell line of devices could be the company’s most successful product ever. According to various industry sources, there are a huge number of pre-orders for the new accelerators with Blackwell GPUs, which are expected to start shipping in the fourth quarter of this year. Growing interest in artificial intelligence and the expansion of data centers will continue to fuel strong demand.
Nvidia is expected to ship 60,000 to 70,000 DGX GB200 servers based on Blackwell GPUs in 2025. Each server will cost between $2 million and $3 million. That means the company will earn about $210 billion over the next year. In its top configuration, the DGX GB200 NVL72 system is equipped with 72 Blackwell B200 GPUs. But Nvidia also expects strong demand for simpler NVL36 server configurations. This is due to the large number of AI startups that are starting their operations without significant financial reserves.
Previously, there were forecasts that Nvidia would deliver 2 million Blackwell chips over the next year. But with a forecast of 60-70 thousand servers, the total number of chips produced will be significantly higher. That is, we see that analysts’ forecasts for Nvidia Blackwell are only growing every day. In fact, everything will rest on the production capacities of TSMC and other partners who will produce and package new chips.
