Like a bolt from the blue, during the evening came the announcement of a new special version of the PlayStation 5 DualSense, which Sony has dedicated to one of its upcoming exclusives.
We are not talking about AstroBot or the remake of Silent Hill 2. The new version of the latest generation controller is in fact dedicated to Concord, the much talked about hero shooter by Firewalk Studios. The Concord Limited Edition is a DualSense that has a black back cover, analog sticks and all the buttons and the rest of the body of the controller inspired by the shooter’s Guide to the Galaxy. Both the touchpad and the side grips are black with orange and blue elements that recall those of the game’s menus.
At least for now, it seems that pre-orders for this exclusive controller are only and exclusively for American players, who can grab one via PlayStation Direct. However, we do not exclude that in the next few hours the pre-orders could also arrive in Europe, always via the official Sony store.
As for the price, the device is sold at $84.99 and its release date is set for August 23, 2024.
While we wait to find out more, we remind you that the Concord Open Beta didn’t go very well and recorded very low numbers on Steam.
