Last year, Undead Labs moved away from supporting State of Decay 2, turning its attention to developing State of Decay 3. However, the zombie survival game was not abandoned; the developers handed over the development of the game to Wushu Studios, and it is this team that continues to release updates.
Update 37 for State of Decay 2 is out now, and here are the major changes for players in it.
New content
A new mission created in support of the Red Cross and blood donation. 3 new cosmetic items: 2 shirts and a jacket related to blood donation. 2 new traits. The return of the Bloodmobile, now it will be available at all times. New Curveball settings and events.
Improvements and bug fixes
Improvements to the game at night, in general, made adjustments to the lighting at night. Made flashlights more powerful. A new marker on the mini-map will always point in the direction of your home base, it can be disabled in the settings. Fixing an issue on Xbox One. Players on the base Xbox One often reported crashes due to memory issues. They occurred after an hour of continuous play. To solve this problem, the developers implemented a fix that automatically detects the memory overload before the crash occurs. A short loading screen will appear for 2-3 seconds to free up memory, preventing a crash and providing a smoother gameplay.
