Eric Kripke attended San Diego Comic-Con with some big news: The Boys’ fifth season may be its last, but Amazon has already picked up a prequel called Vought Rising that will take viewers to 1950s New York.
The show will be directed by the original producer and writer Paul Grellong (Revolution, Scorpion), and the main characters will be the familiar Stormfront and Soldier Boy, played by Aya Cash and Jensen Ackles, who also dropped by for a visit and will also play an important role in the finale of The Boys (and at the same time, apparently, will reunite with Jared Padalecki).
Behind closed doors, visitors to the event were shown the debut trailer for the second season of Generation V.
