Chinese company Cubot plans to launch a number of new products for global sale next week, including the rugged KingKong X smartphone with 5G support, two screens and a massive battery. Despite its high functionality, the new product is affordable.
Smartphone Cubot KingKong X designed specifically for use in the most unpretentious conditions. No matter where you are – surfing the sea or ocean, climbing a mountain or going on a hike, this smartphone will withstand all tests and remain operational in any conditions. In terms of protection against moisture and dust, Cubot KingKong X complies with IP68/IP69K standards. The ability of the device to withstand the effects of difficult environmental conditions, as well as to withstand falls and impacts without compromising performance is confirmed by MIL-STD-810H certification.
The smartphone is based on the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor (two Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz) with a Mali-G68 MC4 graphics accelerator, manufactured using a 6-nm process technology. The amount of LPDDR5 RAM is 16 GB, expandable to 32 GB due to flash memory, to the UFS 3.1 flash drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB, you can add up to 1 TB of storage using a microSD memory card of up to 1 TB.
In addition to the 6.58-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution (2408 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the smartphone has a second 1.85-inch touchscreen on the back, which can be used to take selfies with the main camera, receive call notifications or display incoming messages and other information, such as the time, battery level or weather forecast.
The rear panel of the Cubot KingKong X also houses a camera with a 108-megapixel sensor, supplemented by a 24-megapixel night video camera and a 5-megapixel sensor for macro photography with HDR and night mode, providing the ability to shoot with high quality in any lighting, as well as at night, and record video in 4K resolution. For taking selfies, the smartphone has a front camera with a resolution of 32 megapixels.
Also worth noting is the smartphone’s massive 10,200mAh battery with 32W fast charging, which provides up to 76 hours of talk time, up to 42 hours of music playback, and 17 hours of video playback. Additionally, the device’s specifications include support for Wi-Fi 6 and 5G, as well as NFC. The Cubot KingKong X runs on Android 14 operating system.
