Nvidia released its latest Game Ready driver this evening. The GeForce 560.70 WHQL release includes optimizations for new games that support the company’s DLSS 3 technology, including Dungeonborne, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and Stormgate. It also expands the range of monitors in the category G-Sync Compatible and eliminates some problems that owners of “green” video adapters may have encountered.
Specifically, the GeForce 560.70 WHQL driver fixes a bug that caused quality and bitrate settings to be ignored when encoding 10-bit NVENC. It also fixes artifacts when scaling 10-bit content in OBS, artifacts when rendering overlapping geometry in Unity, and visual artifacts in the preview in Adobe Premiere.
As always, you can download the latest driver package for “green” video adapters using the search on the Nvidia site or via the GeForce Experience (Nvidia App). Documentation for the GeForce 560.70 WHQL release is available at link.
