The latest update 1.49 for Gran Turismo 7 has become reason a funny bug related to the physics of car behavior – they began to fly into the air.
Internet users were extremely amused by this development of events, which looks doubly ironic in this realistic simulator.
Developers from Polyphony Digital have already paid attention to the current problem and promised to find a solution to the sudden change in the behavior of cars. Apparently, such a bug occurs with certain car settings.
It is expected that the problem will be resolved fairly quickly, although no exact time frame has been announced yet.
It’s funny, but when announcing update 1.49, they mentioned “updated car physics” as a separate item, although it’s unlikely that the authors meant such strange car behavior. It’s possible that the bug is related to the implementation of these new elements.
The update itself also added a new region in the Bernese Oberland and six additional cars. Players can also now compete against AI in a race on the Nürburgring track. The update was released on July 25, and includes support for the PSVR 2 version of the race.
