Every now and then, Netflix decides to bring together a collection of talented filmmakers and actors to create a promising drama that’s a far cry from the streamer’s usual forgettable action offerings.
Next on this list will be Azazel Jacobs’ His Three Daughters, a film that revolves around three estranged sisters who come back together to care for their ailing father. The sisters are played by Natasha Lyonne from Russian Doll, Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch herself) and Carrie Coon (Ghostbusters.
His Three Daughters will debut on Netflix on September 20, but will be in a select few theaters for a limited theatrical run starting September 6, no doubt so the film can be pushed into awards contention later.
