Razer knows that everything new is well forgotten old. New features “mouse rotation” and dynamic sensitivity are now available on the Razer Viper V3 Pro and Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed mice.
The mouse rotation feature adjusts the horizontal reading angle of the mouse sensor to match the way you normally hold the mouse in your hand. This can be useful for gamers who hold the mouse at an unusual angle. You can configure the feature in Synapse.
Dynamic Sensitivity is a new feature that offers gamers constant adaptive sensitivity, allowing for better control over the ratio of cursor movement speed to the actual movement of the mouse sensor. In other words, it is a controlled acceleration adjustment, depending on the sharpness of the mouse movement. Gamers can choose one of 3 curve profiles (classic, natural and jump) or create their own curve, to suit their playing style.
The classic curve means that the sensitivity gradually increases (without limitation) with increasing movement speed, as in the Windows mouse acceleration settings.
The natural and jump curves are useful for FPS players who need different DPI settings for different game situations. In such cases, the dynamic sensitivity jump curve allows the DPI to instantly change from low to high values during fast 180-degree turns, without losing the advantage of low DPI for aiming.
These features are now available on the Viper V3 Pro and DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed. To take advantage of them, make sure Razer Synapse and your mouse firmware are updated to the latest versions.
